The Custer County Republican Central Committee (CCRCC) exists to strengthen and advance the Republican Party in Custer County, Montana through organization, education, and principled leadership.

The committee’s primary role is to recruit, educate, and support Republicans who are willing to serve their communities through public office, ensuring candidates understand and uphold the Republican platform, conservative values, and constitutional principles.

CCRCC works to inform and educate voters about Republican candidates and the ideals the party stands for—individual liberty, limited government, personal responsibility, and the rule of law. By providing accurate information and fostering civic engagement, the committee helps voters make informed decisions at the ballot box.

In addition, the committee facilitates cooperation among Republican organizations and grassroots efforts that share the goal of electing Republican candidates. This includes coordinating volunteer activity, supporting voter registration efforts, and providing financial and logistical assistance where appropriate.

The CCRCC also supports elected Republican officials, recognizing that effective governance requires continued engagement, accountability, and communication between officeholders and the voters they serve.

Finally, the committee advocates for strong election integrity and fair party processes, including increased voter registration and a return to closed primaries—allowing each political party to select its own candidates without outside interference.

The CCRCC meets once a month on the third Thursday at 6:00 PM at June’s Bungalow in Miles City, Montana.

All meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity for citizens to stay informed, participate in local party activities, and engage with Republican leadership and issues affecting the community.

The committee works to recruit, educate, and support Republican candidates who uphold Republican principles and the Montana Republican Party platform. This includes:

  • Encouraging qualified individuals to run for public office
  • Providing guidance, resources, and volunteer coordination
  • Supporting elected Republican officials once in office

CCRCC hosts candidate forums to help voters better understand who candidates are, what they stand for, and how their positions align with Republican principles. These forums are designed to promote informed civic participation and transparency.

Each year, the committee hosts a Lincoln–Reagan Dinner, a major fundraising and community event that features guest speakers, Republican leaders, or candidates. Proceeds support committee operations, candidate support, and local party activities.

The CCRCC participates in and hosts community events that bring people together while supporting local traditions, including:

  • A free Fourth of July meal at Riverside Park, which helps raise funds for the following year’s fireworks celebration
  • Outreach efforts focused on voter registration and civic participation

The committee facilitates cooperation among Republican organizations, volunteers, and supporters throughout Custer County, helping align local efforts with county, state, and national Republican priorities.
