Miles City Marketplace was founded on December 1, 2023, with a simple mission — to bring everyday value and excitement to the people of eastern Montana.

Owners Fast Eddie and Ry, both Montana natives, moved to Miles City when Fast Eddie accepted a position in town. With more than 20 years of experience in the business world, Eddie was settling into his new role when Ry saw a unique opportunity. Drawing on her two years of experience in the big box liquidation industry, Ry had a vision: to provide the good citizens of Miles City with affordable products and everyday essentials at unbeatable prices. Together, they turned that vision into reality — and Miles City Marketplace was born.

As Fast Eddie likes to say, “When you bin, you win!” — and that’s exactly how the Marketplace works. Major retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Costco constantly rotate inventory to make room for new products. That excess inventory doesn’t go to waste — Miles City Marketplace buys semi-truck loads of unmanifested liquidation products, meaning even Eddie and Ry don’t know what treasures are coming until the trucks arrive.

Each shipment is unpacked, sorted into bins, and offered to customers at deeply discounted prices, turning shopping into an exciting treasure hunt. The inventory changes daily, ensuring there’s always something new and surprising — making it fun for the whole family to browse, dig, and discover great deals.

About a year after opening, Eddie and Ry met Pam, a retired Texan who moved to Montana for the better weather. Her friendly nature and positive spirit quickly made her an indispensable part of the team. Today, Pam serves as the Product Specialist, helping manage inventory and keeping the Marketplace running smoothly.
