CridCo Water Treatment is a family-owned and operated business in Miles City, Montana, owned by Gary and Bernadette Cridland. Gary is a longtime Miles City resident with more than 30 years of experience in the water treatment business. CridCo began in 1992 when Gary purchased the operation from a close friend, Bud Elmore, who previously operated a Culligan Water Treatment business.

At the time, Gary was working in construction and traveling frequently, but his priority was clear—he wanted to stay close to home and raise his family in Miles City. When the opportunity arose to purchase the existing water treatment business, he stepped in and continued its operation under a new name: CridCo Water Treatment. Years later, he purchased the building and relocated it to its current site to improve visibility and better serve the community. His vision was to operate a water treatment business tailored specifically to the needs of rural Montana families, ranches, and businesses.

For decades, CridCo Water Treatment has focused on dependable service, practical solutions, and long-term customer relationships. A key part of that commitment is longtime employee Robert Trimble, the company’s primary technician for system installation and ongoing maintenance. With years of hands-on experience, Robert ensures each system is properly installed and continues to perform reliably.
