Hardesty & Associates Real Estate has been part of the Miles City community for more than 60 years, originally founded as Mullen-Hardesty Realtors in 1964. Today, the firm continues its long tradition of trusted local service under the ownership of Dawn Bolejack, a fourth-generation Montanan and lifelong Miles City resident with more than 30 years of real estate experience.

Hardesty & Associates handles all types of real estate transactions, including residential homes, commercial properties, investment properties, farm and ranch land, hobby farms, and lots. The office also provides property management services for apartments, houses, and office rentals, with Lisa Kearns overseeing property management and rental operations.

One of the firm’s greatest strengths is deep local knowledge. Dawn and Amber Rainey are hometown-raised professionals who know Miles City neighborhood by neighborhood, generation by generation. They understand zoning, flood zones, property values, and the practical realities of buying, selling, building, and improving property in Eastern Montana. Meet the Team

Dawn Bolejack – Broker/Owner

Dawn Bolejack began her career with Hardesty Real Estate in 1993 as a secretary and transitioned into sales in 2006. She earned her broker license in 2009, became a partner in 2014, and became the sole owner in 2017. With over three decades of experience, Dawn brings deep market knowledge, negotiation skill, and a strong commitment to her clients.

A fourth-generation Montanan raised in Miles City, Dawn is actively involved in the community. She serves on the Custer County Planning Board and the Downtown Urban Renewal Agency, is President of the Pine Hills Ranch Association, and participates in the Pine Hills Fuels Mitigation Task Force. She also sponsors local events and is a member of PEO Chapter K. Outside of real estate, Dawn enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Amber Rainey – Broker/Agent

Amber Rainey is a third-generation Montanan born and raised in Miles City. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Montana State University-Billings and returned to Miles City after living in San Diego. Her positive home-buying experience sparked her interest in real estate, and she now helps others navigate the buying and selling process with the same level of care.

Amber serves on the Miles City Economic Development Council, is a certified Kansas City BBQ judge, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her French bulldog, Fry. She is proud to serve the community she grew up in and knows so well.

Lisa Kearns – Property Manager / Sales Agent

Lisa Kearns handles property management for Hardesty & Associates, overseeing apartments, homes, and office rentals. She also assists clients with sales transactions and brings strong organizational and customer service skills to the firm.
