About King of Games

King of Games, located at 907 Main Street in Miles City, first opened in 2018 under Josh and Ashley Wise. In June 2021, an opportunity arose and Caleb Deming purchased the business—bringing his lifelong passion for gaming full circle. Josh remained on board and has been integral to the growth and expansion the shop has seen in recent years.

What makes King of Games truly special is the vibrant, welcoming community that has formed around it. Players across eastern Montana come together here to share their love for games of all kinds. Everyone is welcome.

Caleb is a Miles City native and a lifelong game enthusiast. He grew up playing Pokémon and entered his first Magic: The Gathering tournament at age 16—an experience that hooked him for good. His vision is to continue growing the gaming community in eastern Montana and to make King of Games a place where players of every level feel at home.

King of Games offers a 2,000-square-foot gaming and event space available for rent. It’s perfect for classes, birthday parties, private gaming events, and group gatherings of all kinds.

Trading Card Games & Supplies

The shop carries a wide range of popular card games, including:

• Star Wars Unlimited
• Disney Lorcana

You’ll also find binders, sleeves, deck boxes, and other supplies to protect and organize your cards.

Board Games

King of Games stocks an extensive lineup of board games for all ages and experience levels, including favorites like Dominion, Settlers of Catan, and Munchkin, along with many others.

Tabletop Wargaming

King of Games carries Warhammer 40K models, games, paints, brushes, modeling tools, and accessories—supporting both new and veteran hobbyists.

Retro Gaming Buy / Sell / Trade

The shop buys, sells, and trades retro gaming consoles and games, including:

• Xbox

It’s a great place to pick up classics or trade in old systems.

King of Games hosts a full calendar of gaming events, including:

• Friday Night Magic (5:30 PM – 8 PM weekly)

• Regional Championship Qualifiers (quarterly)
• Pokémon Play events where players can earn championship points
