About Main Street Grind

Main Street Grind is a family-run coffee shop and café in the heart of Miles City, owned by Chad Ridenour and his wife, who purchased the business in 2014. After moving back to eastern Montana in 2012, they chose to put down roots where community still matters and raise their family in a place they love.

Chad grew up around the restaurant business—his parents ran a restaurant—and that influence shows in the welcoming, local-restaurant feel of Main Street Grind. The goal has always been simple: create a place where everyone feels comfortable, well-fed, and at home.

With six kids of their own, family and community are central to everything they do. Main Street Grind proudly supports local Montana sports, a theme reflected throughout the menu, with items named after Montana teams and traditions.

Each morning starts early with fresh bread, pastries, and bagels made by hand. The bagels, often described as some of the best you’ll find this side of New York, are a point of pride. The menu is designed to offer something for everyone, with the guiding rule that no one leaves hungry.

What You Find at Main Street Grind

Main Street Grind serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, opening early at 6:30 a.m. and closing after lunch at 2:00 p.m.—perfect for early mornings, workday breakfasts, and midday meals.

Breakfast

Breakfast is a cornerstone of Main Street Grind. Guests will find classic options including sausage, ham, or bacon with eggs, along with breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and open-faced breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast bagel is a best seller and a true standout, built on bagels baked fresh each morning.

Freshly baked bread is part of the daily routine, with choices including white, wheat, multigrain, and artisan sourdough.

In addition to their fresh breads and bagels, Main Street Grind bakes a selection of pastries every morning. Their cinnamon rolls are a particular favorite, alongside a rotating variety of other hand-crafted treats that make breakfast even more special.

Lunch

Lunch features a wide selection of burgers and sandwiches, all served on freshly baked bread, along with multiple salad options. A longtime favorite is the grilled cheese sandwich—simple, comforting, and done right, bringing back the kind of flavor that makes you feel like a kid again.
